International Guide: Language
Moving to a new country will bring many surprises as each country offers its own unique culture, geography, laws and style of living.
Do remember that if you are going to live in a country where English is not the primary language spoken you may need to brush up on your skills on the language of your new country. Also remember that even if you speak the everyday language of the people in your overseas destination you may still need to enhance your business language skills in order to be comfortable in the work environment.
There are many excellent language courses, books, cd’s and tapes you can take advantage of to increase your skill level in any language. Your local bookstore will be able to help with the books, cd’s and tapes and your local college may be able to help with an evening course in your desired language.
